No HOA? You'll Still Pay For It

Most Gilbert residents live in homeowners associations community, there are more than 2,000 homes in 11 "community" that does not has HOA, they are called 'special taxing districts'.

Ever wonder who is going to pay the maintenance of the park, play ground, irrigation system and etc..... since there is no HOA fees? Answer: The Homeowner. 

The homeowner is paying a monthly fee, typically $20 to $50, which is added to their Maricopa County property-tax assessment. PKID oversee improvements and maintenance for town-owned common areas.
